On the 12  july we re evocated Anna Maria Pettigiani , the life, the feelings and the canto of our famous soprano, owner of the Villa Vallerosa across the last century !

The  Villa , in the night, with the full moon and the candlelights was the natural fantastic scenary for a wonderful Opera evening.

The singers from Teatro dell'Opera di Roma and  Accademia Santa Cecilia, offered to our guests  the best known "arias" in a charming athmosphere  under the old building's arches, properly decorated and where the stage was set,overlooking the valley and the hundred lights of the medieval villages on the hills in front.

Traviata, Carmen, Rigoletto, Cavalleria rusticana, Barbiere di Siviglia, Boheme and  a great final  Giuseppe Verdi "Libiamo nei lieti calici"delighted the hundred guests and friends  coming from all over the world after a tasty home made buffet with the organic products of the Villa' s farm.

Old pictures of the Villa, the soprano and her family , her history, opened the evening thanks also to the latest generation of the descendants that helped us to gather all the informations.

A unique opportunity for the Villa to go back to the  old splendour !!
