only 45 min. north of Roma, Situated in the heart of the Sabine hills, the Villa Vallerosa is an extraordinarily lovely villa built in the 18th Century by a Venetian architect for his lover and dominates a luxuriant valley, just a mile from the medieval village of Selci Sabino.


Villa Vallerosa is located half way between Umbria and Rome, The charm of this relatively unknown area, with its olive groves and vineyards and its proximity to the medieval and renaissance delights of Italy, makes it a wonderful place for a perfectly relaxing and cultural holiday. Here, you are within easy reach of the hill towns of Etruria, Umbria and southern Tuscany: Orvieto Spoleto, Todi are each only 50km away, like Rome and Viterbo (with all the Etruscan sites) . Also within easy reach for daytrips are Perugia, Arezzo and Siena.


The train station, with a frequent service to Rome, is only 5km away and the local medieval village, with shops, restaurants is within walking distance at only 1.5km away.
Luciana & Luigi, former airline stewardess and captain have now over 10 years experience of providing traditional holidays to people from around the world.


The 12 self catering apartments have been created to give a rustic feel of the tradition of Sabina, while providing all the modern amenities. Each has his own private garden or terrace. The land is still farmed, and there are a variety of animals, such as horses, pigs, goats , sheep, dunkeys, at the Farmhouse. A beautiful panoramic pool is at the disposal of the guests.


The area is renowned for its breath taking landscape, Medieval villages, festas, local products such as olive oil, wine, truffles and much, much more. The location is perfect for a holiday where you can tailor it to your requirements.
